Research & Development

Welcome to the Research & Development (R&D) Unit of Pathivara Engineering College (PEC). Established in 2081 B.S., the R&D Unit aims to foster research activities across various emerging and challenging fields in Engineering, Science, and Technology. The initiative encourages both faculty and students to explore new research areas and enhances the overall research capacity of the institution. The Unit also publishes the Pathivara Journal of Engineering & Technology (PJET), a platform dedicated to scientific inquiry and innovation.

Objectives

• Foster awareness, interest, and opportunities in research and development among faculty and students, cultivating a research-oriented environment within every department.
• Support students in conducting research under various student project schemes funded by agencies such as municipalities, UGC, and others.
• Establish strong collaborations with industries, government agencies, professional bodies, and the community, promoting research and showcasing the college's contributions.
• Motivate faculty and students to publish research and technical papers in national and international journals.
• Organize training sessions, seminars, and workshops on research-related topics, facilitating knowledge dissemination.
